Preserving Tomatoes

I do some vegetable gardening but I don't grow a lot that I need to preserve it, but today while visiting Wilson Farm for grocery, I saw that they had locally grown tomatoes on SALE, so got them and dehydrated a bit in oven and made paste out of them for freezing. I also had to freeze some whole tomatoes for future use.

Ridge Gourd

This is the first time, I have successfully grown ridge gourd from seed and happy to see I can atleast get a few to harvest. There are a lot of flowers and some are already setting vegatable. I wish we have little longer growing season. Next year, I should start them indoors unlike this year.

2 more eggplants...

joined the harvest list and few more are getting ready.

Harvests from last 2 weeks

They are same old same old....this year I should say stars of the garden are Cucumbers and Eggplants. For the growing area and length of the growing period we have, everything is doing great.

Tiny Ridge Gourd and more...

Baby Eggplants
Finally, I could spot a teeny, tiny ridge gourd on the vine and just hoping that it would stay and grow more before it starts to get cold here. Eggplants are full of flowers and baby eggplants are getting ready. There are also few cucumbers getting big.
