Perfect for a snow day!

Hot bean soup for lunch, then go shovel the snow and enjoy some hot chocolate after getting the work done:). This is what happened last Saturday.

Frosty is back

Is the season over??

With warm fall season we had, I still cann't believe the gardening season is over. I should have pulled all these plants and cleaned up before we had the Oct snow. I was waiting for the leaves to turn color and rake, before all those things happened we had the first snow storm. The support  provided for the vines was down with snow. The support stood all strong for Hurricane Irene but couldn't withstand the early snow.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!!! Wishes in Advance.

With a lot of snow around, I have started dreaming of Spring. But at the same time I am not bored of snow yet. If you notice properly the backdrop for the roses and vase is the snow pile on the deck:)

Before it all melts....

wanted to share the pictures of winter wonderland. We had a lot of snow, we could also build tunnels to play in snow. Last couple of days the weather is in 30s and snow is melting, not sure if any snow will be left to go for some sledding over the coming weekend.

Snow in Fall

With colorful foliage all around we got to see the snow too last week. I couldn't capture a better picture, but the view was so beautiful with white snow falling on colorful trees.
