Sun can do magic...

I remember the top hat blueberry with no leaves couple of days back and couple of days of warm weather and look at the new foliage. Again its a lonely blueberry bush/plant. I know its better to have more than 1 plants to have good pollination to get fruit. Hopefully next year I should do that. Even it has not given me any fruit it is interesting just to watch it grow in summer and then have colorful foliage in fall and shed its leafs in winter and comeback again in spring. I have this from 2009.

No Fruit, No Flower

Summer is over and Blueberry and Jasmine are growing but no fruit or no flower :( . I figured that growing one blueberry is no use as there should be atleast 2 for pollination and Jasmine, not sure what is the reason that it is green but with no buds. Still I am happy to say that they look much better now. Click here to see how they looked before summer.

Tophat Blueberry

Newest addition to my container garden, "Tophat Blueberry". This is a variety for containers and supposed to yield yummy blueberries too. Blueberries are very particular about soil and warm temparatures. I potted it in peatmoss and making sure not to over water the plant.
