Eggplants are the best this year, I got 3 big ones last week. We haven't got the frost and I have small to medium sized ridge gourds on the vine which I am planning to get tomorrow so that they won't get affected by nighttime 30s which are expected this week. Nice eggplants, I also liked your Halloween pumpkin. Halloween is only just spreading to Australia (ie the shops are trying to use it sell lots of cheap plastic junk) but I do like the idea of making a lantern - Its also my little boys 2nd birthday so perhaps it can be a birthday lantern...
Thanks Liz. I grew up in a place where there was no Halloween but living in a place where they celebrate it. It is more fun for kids to dress up in costumes.
