Isn't it cute?? I learned something new this weekend when I visited our local garden center, Mohoney's. There were many Terrariums and kits for sale. I had everything on hand except for some charcoal and plants to make one. Here is the outcome of my project. This is such a easy and neat idea to have your own micro garden contained and easy to care for. The Terrariums on display at Mahoney's are a great inspiration.

Refreshing and Rejuvenating
I had never imagined till I got a juicer that vegetable juice could be so refreshing and rejuvenating and something I could get addicted to. Still figuring out various combinations to enjoy. Only thing not digesting my mind is the pulp that comes out while jucing, composting would be one of the option or need to do some goggling to find some ideas of using it...
Amaryllis kept its word
In Dec 2010, I bought a Amaryllis bulb in a pot. It grew with few leaves and nothing happened on flowering side, so left the pot in basement and to my surprise, last 2 weeks back I saw it growing with small flower bud. Now here it is with beautiful flowers.

Bulbs
Bulbs are turning out to be trial and error most of the times. One year squirrels enjoyed them, one year I left the pots of deck and figured chilling period is good but not snow. This year, I got them and forgot to pot them and left them in refrigerator. Last month I was able to pot them and due to the warmer than normal weather, I see that they started to grow. I will provide update soon on what happens next.....
