CSA basket...
Now the basket is getting full as summer is in full swing. I stopped posted the same stuff every week, but decided to post if something is interesting in the basket... I love it when I get arugula and sweet basil, I make pesto and freeze it to use when I need. Initially when I started freezing, I thought it was a chore but now I feel it is such a blessing and saves lot of time later.

I've been feeling the same way! It's nice and refreshing when something other than greens finds its way into the basket :) Never thought to freeze pesto.. thanks for the tip!
Annie, I should have more clear on how I freeze basil. I make basil arugula pesto and freeze it, not paste of basil.
