Simply Homemade

I can say this sandwich is 90% homemade. Homemade wheat bread, fresh tomatoes and cucumer slices and sweet basil....

August 31st harvest

Its always exciting to harvest your plants. Both the Roma tomato and grape tomato are making sure that I don't get tomatoes from grocery store. I just have 1 Serrano pepper plant and its enough for the guacamole I prepare every week. In last 2 days weather has moved from summer to fall, things are slowing down and night temperatures are already in 50s and 60s. I kind of like this weather change and it always keeps you looking forward for something new....

Marigolds in bloom

Bee and a flower

Winter Sown Petunias

I got the seedling from a plant swap and they have been winter sown. Winter Sowing is an awesome technique used to start plants from seeds not worrying about many factors.
